About the Role

This key position oversees daily accounting operations, including financial statement preparation and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. It also ensures compliance with financial regulations, handles tax filings, and collaborates with internal and external auditors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily accounting operations, including financial statement preparation and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, handle tax filings, and collaborate with internal and external auditors.
  • Guide accounting staff and improve financial processes for better efficiency.
Requirements
  • A strong knowledge of Financial Accounting and Financial Reporting.
  • Experience in Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Analysis.
  • Proficiency in Tax Compliance and Regulatory Compliance.
  • Skilled in Auditing and collaborating with auditors.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven leadership and ability to guide a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or similar certification is preferred.
  • Experience in the mining industry is a plus.
