Document Retrieval Specialist Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Document Retrieval Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining clear communication with record custodians, prioritizing orders to ensure timely completion.

Your primary objective will be to retrieve and deliver accurate and complete records within the specified deadlines. You will work closely with various departments to ensure seamless collaboration and effective workflow management.

To excel in this role, you will require strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative or in a similar role within the medical, legal, or insurance claims sectors is essential.

  • Establish and maintain clear communication with record custodians, prioritizing orders to ensure timely completion.
  • Increase communication efforts as due dates approach, issuing necessary notifications according to established procedures.
  • Log all interactions, progress updates, and tracking information into the system.
  • Prioritize and assign work orders to the relevant departments, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Cross-check incoming records with work orders to ensure quality control standards are met.
  • Schedule field tasks accurately, verifying all required details.
  • Report daily productivity to the supervisor using the provided spreadsheet.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English, with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret correspondence and records.
