Insurance Policy Coordinator

This role involves working closely with customers to verify patient insurance coverage and facilitate the creation of policies and processes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying patient insurance coverage, preparing and submitting comprehensive authorization requests, collaborating with healthcare providers, and investigating insurance denials.
Key responsibilities include:
- Verifying patient insurance coverage and ensuring accuracy
- Preparing and submitting detailed authorization requests to insurance companies
- Collaborating with healthcare providers to gather relevant clinical information
- Monitoring the status of authorization requests and maintaining accurate records
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in insurance verification and pre-authorization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
