Commercial Insurance Processor Role Overview

As a Commercial Insurance Processor, you will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of commercial insurance policies. This includes processing and managing policy applications, endorsements, renewals, certificates, and cancellations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process new commercial insurance policy applications ensuring all required information and documentation are complete and accurate.
  • Handle endorsements, renewals, and cancellations in a timely manner while maintaining strict attention to detail.
  • Review policy applications for compliance with industry regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate and organized client files and policy records, as well as ensuring all policy documentation is properly scanned, filed, and stored.

Documentation Management:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and policy records.
  • Ensure all policy documentation is properly stored and easily accessible.

An essential part of this role is ensuring the accuracy of policy data, including entering policy information into the insurance management system and verifying data for accuracy and completeness.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in commercial property and casualty insurance processing is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with insurance software such as Applied EPIC, AMS 360, EZ Lynx, and CRM systems.

As a remote worker, you will have the opportunity to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
