Key Role in Technology Decisions

As a senior data engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our technology stack. Your expertise will be crucial in making decisions that drive performance, resilience, and transparency in our ETL pipelines.

This is an opportunity to own a foundational piece of our product by moving customer data into our data warehouse. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop internal processes and guidelines for departmental direction.

Responsibilities
  • Make strategic technology, platform, and architectural decisions to enhance ETL pipeline performance, resilience, and transparency.
  • Own the development of internal processes and guidelines for departmental direction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new technologies.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience as a data engineer with Python as the primary language.
  • Strong DevOps skills in a Linux environment, including CI/CD, Git, and containerization (e.g., Docker).
  • Experience evaluating and selecting technologies (e.g., Docker, Airflow, Kubernetes) to support scalability and data pipeline orchestration.
  • Demonstrated ability to define technical standards, internal best practices, and documentation for a growing team.
