Reliability Engineer - Infrastructure Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring site reliability, monitoring performance, and handling alerts to maintain robust infrastructure.

  • Manage pipeline build and maintenance according to client tooling and standards.
  • Engage in the software development lifecycle to ensure solutions meet availability, performance, security, and maintainability standards.
  • Monitor system metrics and health, analyze reports to identify areas of improvement.
  • Support production and in-house systems; participate in on-call support to minimize downtime.
  • Lead incident management, conduct root cause analysis, and perform post-incident reviews to improve processes.
  • Implement system security and resiliency measures to safeguard against potential threats.
  • Improve processes within the program by identifying areas of inefficiency and developing solutions.
Skills & Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in software engineering and operations.
  • Domain knowledge in card payments is essential for this role.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, PCF), and NoSQL & SQL databases (MongoDB, Oracle, Postgres).
  • Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and Unix tooling.
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace) and proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, Go).
  • Understanding of SLOs and SLAs, as well as principles of SRE/DevOps teams.
  • Strong initiative, communication, and collaboration skills are required for this position.
