About the Role

The job involves inspecting and analyzing overhead electrical infrastructure to ensure accuracy and reliability of utility asset datasets. This role requires assisting in cataloging utility assets, identifying potential faults and hazards, and contributing to overall improvement of utility services and reliability.

  • Analyze and catalog overhead utility assets to ensure consistent data collection
  • Identify and document electrical utility equipment, faults, and potential hazards
  • Develop and maintain utility asset datasets to support operational improvements
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment with industry standards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support safe and efficient project execution
  • Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices to enhance operational effectiveness
  • Participate in training programs to enhance technical knowledge and skill development
Responsibilities
  • Inspect and analyze overhead electrical infrastructure to ensure accuracy and reliability of utility asset datasets
  • Assist in cataloging utility assets, identifying potential faults and hazards
  • Contribute to overall improvement of utility services and reliability
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience as a lineman in the electric utility field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient computer skills with good written and oral communication abilities
  • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) and national engineering standards is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills and flexibility to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Ability to work remotely and coordinate effectively with a distributed workforce
  • Enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies within the utility sector
