Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist

Description:

The role of an IT Infrastructure Specialist is to design, implement, maintain, and secure the organisation's IT infrastructure.

This involves focusing on Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, Intune, Defender, and Purview. The successful candidate will support the IT Infrastructure Lead in ensuring enterprise IT systems' reliability, security, and performance, contributing to continuous improvements and modernisation efforts.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS/DHCP.
  • Oversee and administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Configure and manage Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) for identity and access management.
  • Deploy and optimise Microsoft Intune for endpoint management and security.
  • Support and maintain cloud infrastructure within Azure, including virtual machines, networking, and security configurations.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering, focusing on Microsoft technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server administration, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments.
  • Experience with Intune for device and application management.
  • Familiarity with security tools like Microsoft Defender and compliance solutions like Purview.
  • Exposure to scripting and automation using PowerShell.
  • A Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or equivalent are advantageous.
