This role will bring a new challenge in the field of growth in a successful, fast-growing company. Our Business Development Manager will help us get our product and service more widely known and used by identifying and reaching out to potential clients through various channels.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. They will be proactive, results-driven, and able to work in a dynamic environment.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of their sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, prioritization of high-potential leads, and alignment with quarterly goals. The successful candidate will also have the ability to collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Product, Customer Success, Legal and Finance) to ensure client needs are met and feedback is effectively implemented.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and reach out to potential clients through various channels.
- Conduct discovery calls and demos tailored to the needs of each prospect.
- Nurture leads and convert them into clients by maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
- Document all client interactions, progress, and sales activities in the CRM to ensure transparency and effective follow-ups.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to refine sales strategies.
- Provide clients with feedback and improvement ideas to internal stakeholders.
- Engage in business events to assess market trends, generate opportunities, and contribute to strengthening the company's brand presence.
- Take ownership of your sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, prioritization of high-potential leads, and alignment with quarterly goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Product, Customer Success, Legal and Finance) to ensure client needs are met and feedback is effectively implemented.
- Meet revenue goals on a monthly and quarterly basis, with targets varying based on role seniority.
- Maintain regular monthly outreach and steady pipeline conversion rate.
- Drive continued engagement with prospective clients by executing timely follow-ups on all ongoing opportunities.
- Lead or actively contribute to at least one successful initiative per quarter, with scope and responsibility aligned to the role's seniority.
- Maintain a balanced pipeline across sales stages, ensuring consistent deal flow and minimal stagnation.
- Demonstrate forecasting accuracy by regularly reviewing and updating deal probabilities and expected close dates.
- Ensure consistent and accurate use of internal tools by documenting all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline updates to support transparency and team alignment.
