Job Title: IT Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of IT work including firewall security and users VPN from home and office.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as an IT staff member and proficiency in main Linux OS flavors such as Red Hat/CentOS 6, 7, 8, Ubuntu. You should also have knowledge of Microsoft Windows administration and scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Perl.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle all IT work including firewall security and users VPN from home and office.
  • Work with all teams in the global company and respond to requests to facilitate connectivity, access, and permissions to various applications.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and support teams to resolve issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience of at least 5 years as IT staff.
  • Proficiency in main Linux OS flavors: Red Hat/CentOS 6, 7, 8, Ubuntu.
  • Microsoft Windows administration level; knowledge of latest Windows OS releases (Windows 7/8/10) and Windows Server 2008/2012.
  • Scripting skills: one of the following: Bash, Python, or Perl.
  • Networking know-how: Fortigate firewall setup; basic WiFi knowledge; Static routing, DHCP.
