Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced relational database professional to join our team. As a key member of our data development team, you will be responsible for designing and evolving database architecture.

You will work closely with our business intelligence, backend, and product teams to shape how our applications function. Your responsibilities will include writing performant code to power business logic and data flows, contributing to refactoring and optimization of existing DB structures and processes, and implementing automated tests and CI/CD pipelines for database development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and evolve database architecture

  • Collaborate closely with business intelligence, backend, and product teams to shape how our applications function
  • Implement automated tests and CI/CD pipelines for database development

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in relational database development (PostgreSQL preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/pgSQL
  • Experience with version control (Git) and modern dev workflows
  • Good understanding of database performance and storage optimization
  • Working knowledge of Linux environment
