
Strategic Business Development Leader

The successful candidate will provide tactical and strategic leadership to the Business Development team, recruiting and developing talent to meet aggressive growth goals. They will enable a team of hybrid BDRs to exceed quarterly and annual new business pipeline generation targets for Enterprise Account Executives.
Core Functions- Expand a team of Business Development Reps using our foundational Business Development plan.
- Support BDRs through on-boarding, ramp up, and ongoing coaching and development to ensure consistent attainment of goals across the team.
- A solid understanding of our technology stack to support the BDR team with lead follow up and proactive outreach.
- Conduct weekly 1:1 review meetings and hold daily team huddles to share best practices.
- Coach direct reports regarding strategies to increase conversion rates and create more pipeline.
- Build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams and become a valued member of our Leadership Team.
- Attend Sales Team meetings to maintain alignment with Field Sales.
Essential:
- Demonstrable understanding of the Business Development role.
- Expertise in coaching and leading business development teams to success.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple high priority tasks to successful completion.
Desirable:
- 4+ years' experience running Business Development or Inside Sales teams.
- 2+ years' experience as a BDR Rep in software industry.
- Experience in Cyber Security advantageous.
