The RoleWe're seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer with deep theoretical knowledge of software testing principles and strong critical thinking skills.
The ideal candidate should be a highly adaptable professional able to independently analyze requirements, ask the right questions, and be a part of a dynamic evolving team.
Key Responsibilities- Test Strategy & Prioritization: Develop well-reasoned and business-aware test strategies considering product risks and customer needs. Apply a risk-based approach to testing and prioritize test coverage logically and consistently.
- Manual & Exploratory Testing: Test case management and execution, analyzing requirements, business risks, edge cases, and feature decomposition.
- Technical Testing & Tools Proficiency: Strong knowledge of web debugging tools, proxy tools, mock data, error handling, database data and query analysis, API testing, logs analysis, and server issue debugging.
- 6+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in a fast-paced SaaS or tech environment.
- Strong theoretical knowledge of QA methodologies, test types, and test design techniques.
- Ability to self-organize, think critically, and prioritize testing efforts based on risk and user impact.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, issue trackers, and test case management tools.
- Experience with test automation and scripting for API/UI testing.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools.
- Exposure to cloud environments and testing in distributed systems.
