Senior Software Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our QA team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and test cases based on project requirements and technical specifications.
  • Design, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test scripts to ensure seamless testing experiences.
  • Identify, document, and prioritize software defects using standard bug tracking tools to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot issues, verify fixes, and ensure all defects are resolved prior to release.
  • Participate in requirement and design review meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of project objectives and identify potential quality risks early in the development cycle.
  • Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely impact existing product features.
  • Promote a culture of quality throughout the development cycle by mentoring junior team members and implementing best practices.

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of relevant experience in software quality assurance required.
  • Extensive knowledge of software testing processes, methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall), and industry best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, etc.).
  • Proficiency with issue tracking and test management tools (e.g., GitHub Issues, Jira, Zephyr, TestRail) and version control systems such as GitHub.
  • Familiarity with API testing, performance testing, and security testing techniques and tools, such as Postman, Selenium, etc.
  • Experience working in Azure with testing and monitoring of cloud-based applications.
