Remote Medical Transcriptionist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced medical transcriptionist to join our team. As a medical transcriptionist, you will be responsible for transcribing live patient calls and dictations from clients in the field of Dermatology.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Transcribe live patient calls and take dictations from clients specifically in Dermatology.
  • Convert audio files and download to Express Scribe.
  • Transcribe all files received during the day within a 24-hour timeframe.
  • Maintain an accuracy rate of 98% to 100% in the transcription of audio files sent by clients.
  • Proofread all transcriptions prior to entering data in Visit Note to ensure error-free entries.
  • Enter data in EMR Visit Note once proofreading is completed.
  • Notify clients after the completion of entering data in IMS Visit Note.
  • Complete all dictations for the day from clients.
  • Perform additional tasks as requested by clients.
  • Accurately complete notes during encounters incorporating essential elements as dictated by providers.
  • Complete prescriptions dictated by providers and send them electronically.
Requirements:
  • A medical allied graduate degree.
  • At least one year of experience in Dermatology transcription.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Type at a speed of 55 WPM with 95% accuracy in transcription.
  • Excellent listening, comprehension, and research skills.
  • Possess good English grammar and pronunciation both orally and written.
  • Familiarity with medical terminologies.
  • Able to focus and concentrate with minimal distractions.
