We are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Assistant to provide exceptional support to healthcare professionals, medical practices, or organizations within the medical sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate appointment schedules, streamlining workflows and enhancing patient care.
  • Oversee billing and insurance claims, resolving issues and optimizing reimbursement.
  • Transcribe medical documents accurately, maintaining precision and attention to detail.

The successful Virtual Assistant will be proficient in various tasks, including:

  • Verifying eligibility, benefits, and resolving claim denials.
  • Understanding the authorization process, including peer-to-peer communication.
  • Navigating the claims process effectively.

Additionally, our ideal candidate should demonstrate:

  • Diligence in handling inbound calls, averaging over 20 calls per hour.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Google Sheets, Google Drive, and G Suite applications.
  • Strong aptitude for data entry and transcription tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate's degree in Health Information Management or related field (preferred).
  • Proficiency in medical terminology.
  • Strong understanding of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
  • Familiarity with insurance claim processing and reimbursement.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders.

This role requires a strong commitment to ethics, respect for patient privacy, and adaptability to changes. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a US timezone and possessing personal work equipment, including a laptop/computer and headset. A reliable internet connection is essential.
