Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional software engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge security features. This is a unique opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborate with other engineers, and drive innovation in the field of security.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, implementing, and documenting new security features, leading security-focused initiatives within a product engineering team, analyzing and fixing vulnerabilities in open source software, contributing to Ubuntu and upstream open source projects, auditing and analyzing source code for vulnerabilities, integrating new tools into our security infrastructure, pipelines, and processes, achieving and retaining various security certifications, extending and enhancing Linux cryptographic components, working with external partners to develop Center for Internet Security (CIS) benchmarks, designing and developing hardening automation for Ubuntu, staying up to date with trends and developments in the security industry, and providing guidance and support to other engineering teams on security best practices.
