Microsoft 365 Cloud Solutions Developer

A Microsoft 365 & Cloud Solutions Developer to join our internal IT team in Manila. This role will be a hybrid of both support and development responsibilities. You will be developing and supporting internal applications, you will monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot cloud-based solutions for optimal performance and availability while actively contributing to security incident monitoring and suggesting improvements. You will also configure and maintain these solutions to align with organizational goals, document processes, and stay up to date with new features to ensure seamless adoption and robust security practices. You will be part of the IT DevOps team in Manila, Philippines and working during the mid-shift.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• At least 5 years of experience in configuring, supporting, and developing Microsoft 365, Azure, or similar cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of PowerApps, Power Automate, PowerShell, and Power BI.

Technical Proficiency

• PowerApps developer experience.
• Proficiency in PowerShell for scripting, automation, and administration tasks.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Outlook, and other Office 365 services.
• Understanding of Azure services for application hosting, identity management, and security monitoring.
• Knowledge of cloud security and best practices for incident monitoring and compliance.

CERTIFICATIONS

While proven work experience is most critical, any of the following Microsoft certifications are a strong plus:

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals AZ-900
• Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900)
• Microsoft 365 Developer (MS-600)
• Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator (MS-100, MS-101)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Development & Automation

• Design and implement custom solutions using PowerApps, Power Automate, and PowerShell.
• Maintain and enhance existing cloud-based applications, ensuring they remain secure, scalable, and efficient.

Support & Troubleshooting

• Monitor and maintain Office 365, Azure, and other Cloud solutions to ensure performance and operational availability.
• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues, providing second/third-level support.
• Proactively analyze system health and security events, recommending mitigations or improvements.

Security & Compliance

• Conduct daily monitoring for security incidents and suggest improvements to protect data and user access.
• Ensure that new cloud features or applications comply with internal security policies and industry standards.

Configuration & Administration

• Configure Office 365 and Azure environments to align with evolving business requirements.
• Manage Cloud solutions to support project management, workflow automation, and collaboration.
• Assist in evaluating and implementing new technologies, features, or applications, ensuring successful and secure deployments.

Continuous Improvement & Documentation

• Stay current on new releases, features, and best practices for M365, Azure, and other Cloud platforms used by the organization.
• Produce and maintain technical and process documentation, including user guides, SOPs, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members and end users as needed.
