Job Description

As a key member of our Security Organization, you will play a vital role in defending against cyber threats. The Senior SOC Analyst position requires an individual with strong technical skills and excellent problem-solving abilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and responding to security events, conducting research and analysis to identify potential threats, and developing procedures to improve detection accuracy. They must have hands-on experience with email, endpoint, network threat detection, remediation, and threat hunting.

The ideal candidate will possess a firm understanding of the security incident lifecycle, TCP/IP protocols, and IDS/IPS rules. Strong communication skills are also essential for this role, as the candidate will need to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to resolve security incidents.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong technical knowledge of Networking, Operating Systems, and enterprise integrations
  • Firm understanding of the security incident lifecycle
  • Thorough understanding of TCP/IP
  • Understanding of IDS / IPS rules to identify and/or prevent malicious activity
  • Basic knowledge of forensic methodologies and best practices to investigate intrusions, preserve evidence and coordinate a unified security response
