Senior Cyber Security Analyst

Transform the cybersecurity landscape by joining our team of experts as a Senior Cyber Security Analyst. This role requires leveraging expertise in bot detection, web traffic analysis, and deep behavioral analytics to identify and investigate anomalous activities within our SaaS security platform.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SQL and proficiency in managing, securing, and preparing production web environments with tools like Kubernetes. Familiarity with threat hunting, web hacking, and web data analysis is also essential. Additionally, the successful candidate should have experience in scripting and programming (JavaScript, Python, etc.) and be interested in keeping up with industry trends and market demands to recommend product enhancements and new sources of intelligence.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze events from various sources to detect threats and respond promptly.
  • Collaborate with globally distributed teams to achieve common goals.
  • Assist in collecting metrics to measure the efficiency of Security Operations functions.
  • Audit the effectiveness of security measures to ensure compliance with established norms.
  • Implement security policies and procedures.
  • Refine processes and update standard operating procedures for the team.
  • Participate in incident investigations and threat hunting engagements.
Requirements:
  • Exposure to web and API security, coding standards, WAFs, advanced persistent threat actors, botnets, and attack mitigation.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and familiarity with Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of threat hunting, web hacking, and web data analysis.
  • Familiarity with scripting and programming languages (JavaScript, Python, etc.).
  • Interest in staying current with industry trends and market demands.
  • Demonstrated interest in working with data and metrics in security.
