Job Description

A key aspect of this role is to drive product development and ensure a seamless supply chain management process.

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in product development, supplier management, contract negotiation, and financial analysis. They must be skilled in managing timelines, coordinating with internal designers and suppliers, and providing clear communication with all stakeholders.

This position requires a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual who can analyze data, negotiate contracts, and make informed decisions to drive profitable partnerships.

  • Responsibilities include:
    • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that meet business requirements.
    • Financial Analysis: Conduct cost and margin analysis using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to ensure profitable outcomes and negotiate costs with suppliers to meet 70% margin requirements.
    • Product Development Support: Collaborate with the product development team to understand product requirements and ensure activities align with product development timelines and budgets.
    • Sourcing New Suppliers: Identify and source new suppliers to meet business needs, researching and evaluating potential suppliers for new or existing projects.
    • Timeline Management: Manage timelines and meet deadlines to ensure timely delivery of all new products launched per season.
    • Contract Negotiation: Ensure Production team conducts contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
    • Documentation & Tracking: Maintain up-to-date internal documents for accuracy and efficiency.
    • Internal & External Communication: Provide clear and timely communication with all internal stakeholders for updates, decisions, and deadlines. Communicate effectively with external stakeholders to provide direction and receive regular updates.
    • Packaging Development: Collaborate with internal designers and external suppliers to develop innovative packaging solutions, including briefing designers on artwork timelines and briefing suppliers on dieline development, sample creation, and cost negotiation.
