Product Owner Role

The Product Owner is a pivotal role in the development lifecycle, focusing on execution, planning, growth, and sustainability.

  • Core Responsibilities:
  • Strategy and Business Direction: Collaborate with stakeholders to provide input on strategy, business direction, and overall management for emerging industries.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks & Projects: Manage various tasks and projects as assigned to support business needs.
  • Team Support: Act as an alternate for other team members when required, ensuring smooth workflow in the process.
  • Product Reference Materials: Champion the creation and maintenance of essential product reference materials, including product decks, process memos, contracts, trade letters, dashboards, and other product-related assets.
  • Partner Acquisition & Retention: Support partner acquisition and retention by addressing product inquiries, ensuring timely delivery of solutions, and enhancing the end-to-end partner customer experience.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand new product enhancements, marketing promotions, and initiatives.

Main Deliverables:

  • Product Backlog Management: Effectively manage the product backlog, translating business strategy into actionable tasks.
  • Task Breakdown & Prioritization: Break down epics into user stories, arrange and prioritize sprints, and evaluate progress.
  • Scrum Master Support: Liaise between product and development teams, facilitating collaboration and efficient workflows.
  • Key Metrics: Monitor monthly active users (MAU), revenue targets, and relevant metrics.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong background in product or marketing management.
  • Experience in fintech, banking, eCommerce, or IT industries.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Driven, self-managed, and capable of working independently.
  • Proficient in data analysis and comfortable handling large data sets.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Google & MS Office applications.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
