Product Development Role

This is a mid-senior level full-time project management position that involves working on entire product development process from ideation to mass production.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in product development and project management with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with multiple stakeholders. Experience dealing with suppliers in and out of China is a plus.

In this role, you will be involved in the development process across multiple functions, collaborating with various teams such as product designers, legal, compliance, quality, marketing, and operations to ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to brand guidelines and standards.

Your key responsibilities will include conducting market research, evaluating new product ideas, researching and identifying suppliers, coordinating with team members to communicate requirements, managing project timelines, tracking success metrics, and feeding improvements into the development cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research to identify and evaluate new product ideas with a customer-centric approach.
  • Evaluate suppliers, communicate requirements, select the ideal supplier for each project.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with teams such as design, legal, quality, and marketing to ensure accurate costs, MOQs, and timely completion of projects.
  • Manage project timelines, track success metrics, share learnings, and feed improvements into the development cycle.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in product development and project management.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple projects and timelines.
  • Self-directed, proactive, and motivated to push projects forward with limited supervision.
  • Good understanding of Western consumer markets (US & Europe) for product decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
