Financial Operations Assistant Role

We seek a highly skilled professional to bolster our financial management capabilities, focusing on construction industry standards and best practices.

  • This key role will work closely with executive leadership to develop and implement effective financial strategies, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
  • Support project-level accounting by managing job costing, preparing Work in Progress schedules, and maintaining percentage-of-completion reporting.
  • Oversee contract administration, including lien releases, retention, change order tracking, and compliance with GAAP.
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate on consolidation and reporting across multiple entities, ensuring timely and accurate information.
  • Manage cash flow, budgets, and forecasts tied to project pipelines, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Coordinate with project managers on budgets, pay applications, and cost-to-complete reports.
  • Support CFO with bonding requirements, banking relationships, insurance audits, and other critical tasks.
  • Develop and prepare financial packages for lenders, investors, and auditors.
