Job Description:

The role involves creating detailed 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks 2024. This includes preparing, checking, and filing company drawings according to procedures and instructions.

Project drawings for fabrication including DXF profiles are prepared following drafting standards and company procedures.

Product installation and operation manuals are also created.

To ensure accuracy, it is crucial to file drawings correctly, including check prints, superseded, and masters. Feedback from the manager is effectively actioned via model and drawing updates, respecting appropriate part numbers and modifications.

This position requires managing and completing projects in a timely manner. Engineering specifications, sketches, and models are analyzed to create accurate mechanical designs.

Collaboration with engineers, designers, and project managers ensures drawings align with project goals.

All mechanical designs must comply with relevant industry standards and company policies.

Maintenance of design files and project documentation is required for future reference according to company procedures.

Additional responsibilities include assisting in preparing project specifications, material lists, and other technical documentation. Participation in design review meetings and providing feedback on potential improvements is also expected.
