JOB SUMMARY

To assist the Design Manager in daily tasks including plan review, billing processing, issuance of NTP/LOA, and participation in design coordination meetings, with a focus on civil engineering aspects.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Assist in managing civil design aspects of projects, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and engineering standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate consultant outputs across all planning and design phases.
  • Manage contracts for civil engineering consultants, including billing and documentation.
  • Lead and participate in design coordination meetings and site inspections.
  • Oversee design management for civil, structural, and infrastructure trades.
  • Conduct technical coordination during planning and construction phases.
  • Perform thorough review of civil plans, conduct site inspections, and prepare technical reports.
  • Ensure designs comply with budget constraints, company standards, permits, and relevant codes.
  • Support efforts in standardizing civil design practices across projects.
  • Maintain organized documentation and assist in report preparation.
  • Respond to queries from CRM and other departments regarding civil design.
  • Conduct research on materials, construction innovations, and industry trends.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Licensed Civil Engineer
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge in Civil 3D or other civil engineering design software is a plus
  • Preferably with experience in design management or project coordination
  • Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, strategic thinker
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
