Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Designer to join our team. As an Infrastructure Design Professional, you will be responsible for producing high-quality civil engineering designs and documentation for energy and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop comprehensive civil engineering plans using specialized software such as 12D and AutoCAD.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure design work aligns with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Contribute to the delivery of projects by ensuring output meets high standards and is completed within allocated timeframes.
  • Maintain compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements in all design drawings.
Requirements
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in a field such as civil engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience working in a consulting environment, preferably with a focus on civil infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in engineering design software, including AutoCAD and 12D.
  • Familiarity with designing access tracks and cut/fill pads, with wind farm design experience being advantageous.
  • Knowledge of local and national regulations, legislation, and industry standards.
