
Senior HR Business Partner

This role oversees HR function/operation and administration in a country office, spearheading global initiatives and efficient delivery of support services.
- Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Staffing:
- Coordinate with department heads and hiring managers to identify staffing needs and review job descriptions.
- Work with the Global Shared Services and Recruitment teams to facilitate recruitment activities.
- Develop an orientation/onboarding program tailored to the needs of new staff and roles.
- Oversee the offboarding process, including exit surveys and outplacement support.
- Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, supporting conflict resolution.
- Provide support in managing staff disciplinary processes and ensuring compliance with organizational standards and local labor laws.
- Facilitate employee engagement programs to improve morale and retention.
- Performance and Development:
- Support the implementation of performance management processes, tracking goals, and evaluating staff performance.
- Initiate programs to develop core, leadership, and technical competencies required by individuals and teams.
- Implement professional and career development plans for staff.
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Manage payroll processing and benefits administration, ensuring timely and accurate releases.
- Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring competitive and equitable benefits.
- HR Operations and Compliance:
- Review, update, and align CO HR policies and practices with local labor laws and best practices.
- Maintain data integrity in WeConnect and hardcopy documentation of employee records.
- Leadership and Oversight of Administration:
- Provide leadership and oversight of office administration, ensuring efficient support.
This role requires 5-7 years of proven HR experience, preferably with international or local non-government/foundations and/or for-profits organizations. A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is essential. Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
