Healthcare Support Professional

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team that provides customer-centric support services in the healthcare industry. As a Healthcare Support Professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of care to our members.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing member intake, admissions, and discharges. You will work closely with hospitals, clinics, facilities, and clinical teams to coordinate requests for services from members and providers. This includes processing referrals, prior authorizations, and census roles.

You will also provide triage and care coordination notification cases for non-clinical assessment and intervention. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to handle resolutions and inquiries from members and providers effectively.

In addition, you will comply with employment contracts, company policies, and procedures, as well as any directives related to work locations, teams, shifts, and other policies.


Key Responsibilities

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems
  • Ability to create, edit, save, and send documents using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to type and talk at the same time and navigate multiple screens
