We are seeking a skilled AWS Site Reliability Engineer to lead our cloud platform in achieving exceptional system reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Our team is responsible for leading incident response from initial detection, real-time mitigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of lessons learned.
  • We develop comprehensive incident response strategies to minimize downtime and business impact.
  • Participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation ensures continuous system availability.
  • Maintaining and improving observability solutions using Cloudwatch or similar monitoring platforms is crucial.
  • Assessing and enhancing AWS infrastructure to optimize performance and cost-effectiveness is a top priority.
  • Monitoring serverless technologies including AWS Lambda and API Gateway for peak performance and cost efficiency is vital.
  • Fostering improved collaboration between development and operations teams by implementing SRE practices is essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in DevOps or SRE roles is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Proven experience in incident response and 24/7 on-call responsibilities is essential.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, primarily Terraform, is required.
  • Expert-level knowledge of AWS compute infrastructure is essential.
  • Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with incident.io is beneficial.
  • AWS certifications are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments is desirable.
