Financial Accounting Role

We are seeking a skilled financial professional to manage our company's accounting needs. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for performing monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Reconcile multiple bank accounts on a monthly basis, identifying and addressing any discrepancies
  • Complete daily account reconciliations across various entities, guaranteeing timely and accurate submissions
  • Investigate and resolve control account discrepancies, including AP, AR, and intercompany transactions
  • Maintain general ledger accounts, participating in month-end/year-end closing procedures
  • Manage fixed asset registers for multiple entities, ensuring up-to-date records
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely completion of month-end close activities
  • E nsure compliance with internal controls and contribute to process improvements around reconciliation practices
  • Support audit requests related to reconciliations and ledger balances, providing accurate information
  • Participate in system upgrades or transitions impacting reconciliation processes
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and reporting
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as required by management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably in a global environment
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills in English
