Acquisitions Opportunity

The Acquisitions Analyst will support the acquisition and finance teams with tasks such as financial analysis, market research, due diligence, investment presentations, and pipeline management. Effective communication is required with the executive team, property sellers, brokers, and service providers.

This role requires a self-starter, comfortable working in a team environment with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, organized, and possess excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform thorough financial analysis and underwriting on potential investments.
  2. Review offering memoranda, seller-provided materials including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows.
  3. Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis for investment decision support.
  4. Prepare high-quality presentation decks to showcase investment opportunities.
  5. Assist in property-level due diligence, including lease review, rent roll, loan documents, and coordination with third parties.
  6. Perform market-level due diligence, including sale and lease comparables, and investment trends.
  7. Organize and maintain the acquisition pipeline to ensure timely decision-making.
  8. Provide administrative support to the acquisition and finance teams, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Qualifications:
  1. Latin honors from a reputable university preferred.
  2. Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, or accounting is advantageous.
  3. MBA degree is highly regarded.
  4. 2-5 years of experience in real estate asset management, finance, or acquisitions is essential.
  5. Experience with top consulting firms or financial institutions is beneficial.
  6. Proficiency in underwriting and analyzing real estate opportunities is crucial.
  7. Experience with quantitative evaluation and analysis (ROI, cash flow, NOI) is required.
  8. Advanced Excel modeling skills are necessary.
  9. Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills are essential.
  10. Ability to produce error-free work under tight deadlines with minimal oversight is vital.
  11. Unquestionable integrity and ethics are non-negotiable.
  12. Team-oriented mindset with problem-solving skills is highly valued.
  13. Passion for commercial real estate and professional growth is desired.
