About the Position

We're seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Medical Record Coordinator. This role offers an opportunity to work with a leading provider of medical record services, supporting legal teams across the U.S.

As a Medical Record Coordinator, you will be responsible for requesting medical records from healthcare providers, hospitals, and custodians. You will also draft and send formal requests, authorizations, and necessary forms.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Request medical records from healthcare providers, hospitals, and custodians.
  • Draft and send formal requests, authorizations, and necessary forms.
  • Follow up via email, fax, and phone to ensure timely retrieval.
  • Coordinate billing and invoicing with the accounting team.
  • Keep detailed track of all outstanding requests and escalate issues as needed.
  • Review and organize incoming records for accuracy and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience working with confidential data portals, invoices, and reporting tools.
  • Prior exposure to legal, financial, or healthcare record management.
  • Proficient in record retrieval processes and document management.
