Team Lead

As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for driving customer satisfaction and team performance. Your duties will include providing strategic direction to the team, executing operational activities, and promoting a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting, uncovering, recommending, asking, and appreciating customers.
  • Lead the movement of merchandise and support merchandising initiatives, feed management, and inventory control.
  • Supervise cash handling procedures and operate cash registers and computers.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of customers, team members, and vendors.
  • Train team members on policies and procedures, and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Requirements:
  • Previous retail leadership experience is required.
  • Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is highly desirable.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
  • The ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.
Physical Requirements:
  • The ability to move and transfer merchandise up to 50 pounds throughout the store is required.
  • The ability to push and pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with assistance is necessary.
  • The ability to occasionally lift or reach merchandise overhead is required.
  • The ability to frequently stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, stoop, and climb ladders is essential.
