Finance Business Partner Specialist

Description

The Finance Business Partner is responsible for preparing financial reports that support the company's operating performance analysis and strategic decision-making. This involves collecting, gathering, and analyzing variance reports and rolling forecasts from various departments to ensure proper documentation and presentation to top management.

Additionally, this role ensures departments are informed of their operating cost status versus budget and coordinates with project owners on contract, billing, and costing matters. It also monitors CAPEX and OPEX budgets and analyzes utilization.

The Finance Business Partner prepares and submits timely Rolling Forecast Reports and schedules management reports, including presentation material packages that assess the profitability and financial performance of the company, its facilities, and various departments.

This role provides analysis and explanation of financial performance against the prior year and budgets; progress against key corporate metrics; and pertinent financial highlights at the level of the company's net income, facility's operating income, and departmental expenses.

Furthermore, it creates, enhances, and disseminates templates and forms to be used in submitting, reviewing, consolidating, and communicating budgets and financial plans.

The Finance Business Partner supports the implementation of budgeting procedures and the preparation of budget guidelines and templates to ensure alignment with company objectives and compliance standards.

It coordinates and assists department heads regarding their departmental budgets and examines their budget estimates and adjustments for completeness, accuracy, and conformity with budget policy, directives, and parameters.

The role initiates the preparation of re-forecasts, annual budgets, and multi-year financial plans, ensuring timely delivery of outputs in accordance with established schedules and business requirements.

Moreover, it maintains enterprise financial planning and budgeting systems, providing technical and functional support to budget preparers and approvers, and supporting the implementation, integration, and ongoing evolution of any current or future financial planning and budgeting technologies.

The Finance Business Partner prepares financial analysis support and ad hoc reports for decision-making and prepares financial models for project financing, financial planning, and control.

It collaborates with the FSS Team in the completion and availability of financial information in Oracle Fusion and EPM to ensure timely preparation of management reports, rolling forecast, and external reports.

Finally, it works with the Finance Business Partner Manager in the preparation of Budget Presentation Approval Package.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, including budget preparation and management. You should also possess excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with keen attention to detail and proficiency in computer applications and financial tools.

A graduate degree in Accountancy is preferred, and certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is advantageous. At least two years of relevant work experience in finance or related functions is required.
