About the Role

The BPO Accounting Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial statements, analyzing data to inform business decisions, and maintaining effective and efficient financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Philippine GAAP, Accounting Standards, local and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Maintain effective and efficient month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Oversee the recording, tracking, and reporting of financial information.
  • Provide variance analysis of financial information and recommendations on any cost savings.
  • Plan and prepare budgets for the department.
  • Coordinate and complete tax or local government annual statutory and compliance audits.
  • Develop and implement department controls and procedures to ensure effective operations.
  • Optimize systems and processes to meet company goals and objectives while safeguarding company assets.
  • Conduct reviews of balance sheets and monthly account reconciliations.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for auditors and manage preparation and support of internal and external audits.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Finance and Accounting.
  • Exceptional working knowledge of accounting and revenue recognition principles.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting best practices and standardized accounting policies and procedures.
  • Hands-on experience transacting in multiple currencies required, including financial consolidation and currency translation.
  • Experience in using QuickBooks Online and highly proficient in using Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including graveyard shifts if needed.
