Job Overview
We are seeking a Financial Operations Specialist to oversee the company's financial health, ensuring accurate reporting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain and reconcile QuickBooks Online records to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Develop financial strategies to support business growth and improve profitability.
- Manage cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, and expense tracking.
- Handle payroll processing and compensation for employees and contractors.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations for leadership decision-making.
- Ensure tax compliance, including sales tax, payroll, and corporate filings.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in a digital marketing agency or related industry.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online—comfortable managing financials within the platform.
- Payroll management experience, including processing payroll, tax compliance, and benefits administration.
- Solid understanding of GAAP, financial planning, and reporting principles.
- Experience managing agency financials, project-based accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
