Financial Property Manager

Job Overview:

We seek an experienced professional to manage the financial operations of our real estate properties. This role is crucial in overseeing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in accounting records, and providing valuable financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day accounting functions for real estate properties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Utilize industry-standard software to manage property accounting, tenant ledgers, rent payments, owner statements, and property reports.
  • Maintain and reconcile accounts to ensure accurate financial data.
  • Process monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review.
  • Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with property managers and other team members to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Proven experience in property management.
    • Extensive hands-on experience with property accounting software.
    • Strong skills in financial analysis and reporting.
    • In-depth understanding of real estate financial workflows, including rent collection, owner payouts, and property expense tracking.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
