Job Title: Compliance Data Specialist

Descartes, a leading logistics and supply chain technology company, is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Data Specialist to join our team. This role involves collecting and verifying insurance certificates from carrier providers, accurately entering and managing carrier data, reviewing and validating carrier insurance coverage, identifying and correcting data discrepancies, communicating with insurance representatives, organizing and maintaining digital records, and collaborating with team members.

  • Collect and verify insurance certificates from carriers
  • Enter, update, and manage carrier data in MyCarrierPortal systems
  • Review and validate carrier insurance coverage for compliance and legitimacy
  • Identify and correct data discrepancies to maintain accuracy
  • Communicate with insurance representatives via phone/email
  • Organize and maintain digital records and compliance files
  • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and support process improvements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications in data entry/administration a plus)

Experience in data entry, compliance, or administrative roles preferred

Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)

Excellent typing speed, accuracy, and organizational skills

Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage tasks independently

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of database management an advantage
