Data Modeling Specialist

The machine learning deployment specialist will be responsible for deploying data scientists' models and making them accessible to software applications. Key responsibilities include model deployment, management, and optimization in production environments, ensuring seamless integration and efficient operations.

• Proficiency in data modeling and ETL processes.
• Understanding of business use cases and their applications.
• Monitoring deployment pipelines for machine learning models.
• Reviewing code changes and pull requests from the data science team.
• Triggering CI/CD pipelines after code approvals.
• Ensuring all tests pass and model artifacts are generated and stored correctly.
• Deploying updated models to production environments.
• Collaborating with software engineering and DevOps teams for smooth integration.
• Containerizing models using Docker and deploying on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Setting up monitoring tools to track various metrics like response time, error rates, and resource utilization.
• Establishing alerts and notifications for anomaly detection.
• Analyzing monitoring data, log files, and system metrics.
• Collaborating with the data science team to develop updated pipelines for fault coverage.
• Documenting and troubleshooting changes and optimizations.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience as a machine learning deployment specialist or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools (Apache Airflow, Luigi).
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Data modeling, data warehousing, and database design knowledge.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Understanding of data security and privacy principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Partnership with Data Analysts/Report Designers to identify solutions.
