Human Resources Strategist

Pivotal to delivering impactful HR services, you will provide efficient, relevant, and cost-effective solutions in Recruitment, Training and Development, Employee Relations, Compensation and Benefits, Personnel Administration, Performance Management, and Records Management. This role plays a crucial part in the management committee (Mancom) and the Human Resource Committee (HRcom), guiding decisions on company issues. Key to policy-making and implementation.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement HR goals, objectives, and priorities for each Key Result Area (KRA).
• Formulate strategies to achieve department objectives, focusing on promoting a positive working environment.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, particularly in compensation, benefits, and disciplinary management.
• Prepare and deliver management reports, including KRA reports and ratings.
• Oversee the creation, updating, consolidation, and communication of HR policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Maintain confidentiality of records and information.
• Represent the company in dealings with government agencies and private sectors on HR and labor matters.
• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Recruitment and Employee Relations (ER) issues.
• Handle job-related projects as assigned.
Tasks
• Participate in manpower planning and budgeting of HR expenses.
• Review and approve HR-related documents, including job offers, employment contracts, and payment requests.
• Monitor and ensure implementation of approved training plans.
• Analyze and consolidate monthly ratings company-wide.
• Prepare documents for HRCOM meetings and ensure proper documentation of employee actions (promotions, transfers, terminations).
• Approve payroll processing and ensure accuracy of benefits applications.
• Negotiate terms with external service providers (ESP).
• Implement employee relations and engagement programs.
• Resolve labor and legal matters involving employees.
• Review and update HR policies and present recommendations to EXCOM.
• Collaborate with department heads on HR matters and promote process improvement.
• Coach, develop, and provide feedback to team members.
