Commerce Operations Manager

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations and performance optimization of our e-commerce platform. Your expertise in managing sales, promotions, content updates, product merchandising, email and SMS campaigns will be crucial to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize all product display pages to ensure accurate content, strong SEO, and conversion-forward design
  • Oversee homepage, navigation, and seasonal merchandising updates to drive customer engagement
  • Plan and execute product launches and sales promotions to meet business objectives
  • Monitor site daily to ensure uptime, product availability, and bug-free performance

Content & Blog Strategy:

  • Update and publish blog content regularly, collaborating with internal teams to develop engaging content
  • Develop ideas to tie site content to brand campaigns and seasonal storytelling, driving customer loyalty and retention

Analytics & Optimization:

  • Monitor Shopify, Klaviyo, and Google Analytics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Track and report on site health, average order value, conversion rates, and bounce rates, making actionable recommendations to enhance performance and customer experience

Email & SMS Marketing:

  • Manage and grow revenue through email and SMS marketing campaigns, leveraging customer data to drive personalized communications
  • Build, optimize, and test flows for welcome, post-purchase, abandoned cart, and win back campaigns to maximize ROI

Team Collaboration:

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to troubleshoot bugs and implement technical updates, ensuring seamless operations
  • Act as a liaison for e-commerce operations questions within the broader organization

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience managing direct-to-consumer e-commerce, preferably in beauty/wellness/lifestyle brands
  • Deep knowledge of Shopify and Klaviyo (email and SMS) platforms
  • Confident with Google Analytics, analytics tools, heatmaps, and data interpretation
  • Strong attention to detail and user experience
  • Excellent copywriting, communication, and project management skills
