Financial Administrator

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • General Accounting: Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll processing, Rent Roll/property Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements and cash flow forecasts
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of company bank accounts and credit cards
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records, ensuring they are compliant with industry standards and regulations
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with Australian taxation laws
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with senior management to prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts
  • Financial Advice: Provide financial insights to management to help with business decisions, cost control, and profitability
Requirements:
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in MYOB - A MUST
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • A proactive, flexible, and positive attitude

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, good organisation, and an excellent ability to multitask. They should also have a demonstrated ability to take initiative in problem-solving and exercising judgment.
