Commerce Operations Specialist Job Description

The Commerce Operations Specialist will assist the account manager in ensuring that our e-commerce accounts are properly maintained, with accurate product listings, pricing, and inventory management. The role involves coordinating product listing updates, pricing adjustments, and promotional campaigns with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service and update key e-commerce accounts on a timely basis.
  • Support the account manager by providing data analysis and generating reports to track performance.
  • Ensure new products are uploaded to various e-commerce platforms accurately and efficiently.
  • Regularly review top-selling items, adjusting images, videos, and variations where necessary. Verify inventory status is correct across all platforms.
  • Work within internal systems and customer systems to pull, update, and ensure pricing accuracy. Manage promotional pricing during sales periods.
  • Coordinate product listing updates, pricing adjustments, and promotional campaigns with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with key online marketplace platforms and ensure all requirements are met.
  • Provide ongoing analysis of e-commerce metrics, identifying opportunities to improve product listings, sales performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in troubleshooting issues related to online orders, inventory discrepancies, or product mismanagement.
Qualifications:
  • Education: A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of relevant work experience as a Commerce Operations Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Platform Experience: Must have experience uploading products on Houzz and Cymax. Experience on Lowe's, Walmart, Amazon, and Target platforms is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required for data manipulation, reporting, and analytics.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Communication Skills: Strong English communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Attention to Detail: Must be highly efficient, organized, and detail-oriented to ensure accurate product listings and timely order processing.
  • Other Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
