About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Property Valuation Assistant to join our team. This role involves financial modeling, market research, and preparing reports to support client investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Analysis: Conduct research on real estate databases for comparable data, analyze the data, communicate with industry professionals, and write an in-depth analysis explaining/supporting findings.
  2. Financial Modeling: Analyze real estate investments, including acquisitions and developments, using advanced financial models.
  3. Property Performance Assessment: Create comprehensive financial models to assess property performance and returns.
  4. Market Research: Research market trends, property data, and comparable sales/rentals to inform business decisions.
  5. Report Preparation: Develop detailed reports and presentations for leadership and clients.
  6. Due Diligence Support: Assist with due diligence, including reviewing financial documents and contracts.

Requirements:

  1. Previous Experience: Previous work experience as a Real Estate Analyst or similar roles.
  2. Degree: Degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Math, Economics, or Real Estate.
  3. Technical Skills: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with financial modeling software preferred.
  4. Analytical Thinking: Proven analytical experience with independent thinking.
  5. Software Familiarity: Familiarity with FileMaker Pro and internet searching skills.
  6. Real Estate Knowledge: Knowledge of real estate terminology and metrics (e.g., cap rates, NOI, IRR).
  7. Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  8. Communication: Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
