Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team at TMDPH INC. This key role is responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and providing support across multiple HR functions.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting, phone interviews, offers to onboarding new hires, ensuring a smooth transition of employees into the organization.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify personnel needs, scheduling applicants and develop job descriptions that accurately reflect the role's responsibilities.
  • Conduct employee onboarding, including orientation, explaining benefit offerings, and schedule trainings to ensure employees have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Provide guidance on team members, team leaders, and assist with conflict resolution to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Assist in the development and execution of performance appraisals and employee development plans to promote growth and improvement within the organization.
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits such as travel and internet allowance, HMO, and leaves management, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with labor laws and maintain up-to-date employee records, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Assist in creating and updating HR policies, ensuring alignment with company goals and legal standards.
  • Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining the integrity of financial data.
  • Stay updated on compliance, regulatory concerns, and industry trends by maintaining connections with government agencies through attending conferences and workshops.
  • Participate in HR improvement initiatives and contribute to employee satisfaction and engagement programs, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Coordinate employee offboarding procedures, including exit interviews and the collection of company property, ensuring a seamless transition for departing employees.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accurate HR records, adhering to strict data protection protocols.
  • Maintain the company's HRIS, ensuring efficient management of HR-related data and processes.
  • Handle other HR-related duties as needed, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to excellence.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, demonstrating expertise in HR operations and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, enabling effective collaboration and decision-making.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality, maintaining trust and respect within the organization.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, facilitating efficient communication and data management.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and Payroll software, ensuring seamless integration and process automation.
  • Knowledgeable on using Canva, demonstrating creativity and visual design skills.
