Job Opportunity: Healthcare Administrator

This role necessitates a high level of professionalism, empathy, and organisational skills to deliver exceptional patient experiences.

  • Answer and manage a large volume of incoming phone calls with timely and accurate responses.
  • Respond to inbound email inquiries with warmth, clarity, and accuracy.
  • Make, modify, and confirm patient bookings across multiple practitioners and time zones where applicable.
  • Monitor inboxes and communication channels to ensure timely responses and prioritisation of urgent queries.
  • Update and maintain patient information in the patient management system.
  • Coordinate follow-up appointments, recall systems, and administrative workflows that support clinical staff.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong time management and multitasking abilities, and proficiency in patient management software and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with telephony tools and experience with the Medi Records patient management system are highly advantageous.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Administration or a health-related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a remote receptionist, administration, or customer service role – ideally in a medical or healthcare setting.
