Regulatory Compliance Manager


We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee and implement our regulatory compliance strategies. As the Regulatory Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring and leading our team's performance in delivering timely results.

This role requires a strong background in either Internal or External Audit, or experience with compliance testing and risk and controls. Knowledge of KYC and EDD is highly valued.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of leadership experience, with proven ability to manage, develop, and motivate a team. You will be expected to provide timely guidance and coaching to the team, update senior management regularly on the status of compliance activities, and escalate any issues that may impede the completion of these activities as scheduled.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective compliance strategies to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory adherence.

  • Monitor and review team performance, providing feedback and guidance to enhance productivity and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to achieve business objectives.

  • Maintain relationships with regulatory personnel and stakeholders through consistent communication and issue resolution.

  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Develop training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills related to regulatory compliance.

  • Analyze and interpret regulatory bulletins and other sources of information to stay up-to-date on changing regulations.

  • Provide input on policy development and implementation to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.

  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for senior management on compliance matters.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in compliance, audit, or a related field.

  • At least 1 year of leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with senior executives and stakeholders to communicate compliance-related information.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
