Occupational Health and Safety Documentation Specialist

The position involves creating, editing, and reviewing technical safety documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new content as needed to meet regulatory or online auditing platform requirements.
  • Review and refine existing content, making necessary revisions for accuracy, grammar, and formatting while maintaining a standard internal format.
  • Verify content against regulatory, federal, and state requirements to ensure adherence to current occupational health and safety regulations, making edits or revisions as necessary for compliance.
  • Evaluate safety manual content against multiple online auditing platforms to maintain compliance with auditing requirements and processes.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in technical writing, environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the occupational health and safety field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Familiarity with occupational health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
