Medical Virtual Assistant

As a Medical Virtual Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional administrative support to healthcare professionals in a remote setting. Your primary responsibility will be to manage patient records efficiently and accurately using your familiarity with EMR systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage patient records using EMR systems
  • Update and maintain EMR systems with new patient information, medical history, and treatment plans
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and professionally responding to patient inquiries via phone, email, or chat
  • Explain our services to new patients, ensuring they have a clear understanding of how our systems work and what to expect
  • Assist healthcare professionals in scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating follow-up care
  • Collaborate with medical billing teams to ensure accurate coding and billing information
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in handling sensitive medical information
  • Work closely with the team to ensure seamless coordination and communication

Preferred qualifications include previous experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant or in a similar role, proficiency in using EMR systems, strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation, excellent communication skills, and strong organizational skills.
